Indoor Pig Farm Workers

We are recruiting pig farm workers for a farrow-to-finisher breeder unit in Northern Country Victoria, 3 hours north of Melbourne.

Our client has a 2500-sow farm, and they breed and raise fresh pork for the Australian market.

Successful applicants will be required to work in all areas of pig production if needed. However, if lacking skills in some areas, training will be provided.

Other skills in welding, maintenance, tractors, telehandlers, trucks & skid steers would be an advantage but not essential.

Our client is looking for applicants with long-term plans to come to Australia under the 482 Visa (assistance available) but will consider those looking to go via a Working Holiday Visa.

Salary guide: $56,100 doe

Outdoor Pig Stockperson

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Pig Stockperson on a free-range pig farm in Queensland, Australia.

The enterprise has high animal welfare standards. Their pigs are raised and fed the ‘natural way’ using chemically-free methods. They farrow-to-finish on one site and are part of the Australian Pork Industry Quality Assurance Program Certified (APIQ) scheme.

Applicants must demonstrate high welfare standards, ideally, two years+ of pig farming experience and interest or experience in free-range farming. 

Salary Guide: $65,000 – $80,000

  • Single-person and family housing are available
  • Please note: Flights to Australia and Visa (either working holiday visa or sub-class 482) are at your cost.
