We're recruiting a Pig Stockperson for a farm in Norfolk.

Joining a team as a Pig Stockperson offers a unique opportunity to work in a progressive, independent Red-Tractor accredited multi-site producer. You will be based at the Guist/Gately outdoor breeding unit, working in a dynamic and challenging environment. This role also provides the chance to lead the team in the manager's absence, contributing to the growth and success of our outdoor herd.

Job description:

• Feeding sows
• Strawing up huts
• Moving sows
• Weaning piglets
• Fallen stock removal
• Artificial insemination
• Identification of illness
• Administering vaccinations and medicine
• Practicing good biosecurity
• Accurate record keeping
• Using machinery and equipment 
• Working outdoors in all weather

You need the experience to hit the ground running!

Salary: £26,500 - £28,000 DOE

Possibilities to progress to management level may be available to the right candidate.
