We a looking to recruit a Pig Stockperson for a unit in Nottinghamshire (DN22).

The business is a mixed farming enterprise with arable, dairy and pigs in Hampshire and pigs in Nottinghamshire.

They have owned the pig unit in Nottinghamshire for 20+ years. It is a high health multiplication unit producing breeding gilts.

Job Description:

• Working as part of a team
• Depending on experience, moving from farrowing to dry sows to feeding herd
• All associated duties of an indoor unit with sows kept on straw fed automatically
• Basic tractor knowledge would be helpful but not essential
• Working 1 weekend in 3

Rate of pay would be dependent on experience.

Accommodation is not available, so candidates need to be able to commute to DN22. Help with local housing may be offered.
