We are recruiting a Junior Pig Stockperson for a family-run farm in Oxfordshire (OX25).

At their breeding-to-bacon enterprise with 350 sows, they farrow outside and dry sows/serving/finishing on straw-based inside. 

The Junior Pig Stockperson's role involves:

• Assisting the team with all the aspects of pig husbandry
• High animal welfare
• General farm-based duties

This position would ideally suit someone at the start of their agricultural career - someone who has a small amount of pig and tractor experience but a considerable amount of enthusiasm and drive to want to learn and succeed.

Salary guide: £20,000 - £25,000 DOE
