We're recruiting for a Pig Stockperson for an indoor farm in Aberdeenshire, AB53. 

The farm has continued to invest in the business, resulting in more efficient, modern management practices.

The chosen candidate will work in a team of 3 covering all duties associated with the 700-sow indoor unit, from breeding to 7 kilos.

 

Person Specification:

• Entry-level candidates – You must have enthusiasm, plus ideally, have some pig/livestock experience; training will be given 
• Experienced candidates - Must be confident in the management of all aspects of breeding pigs, from AI to farrowing
• Good attention to detail
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Must demonstrate high standards of animal welfare
• Have maintenance skills
• Experience with tractors & telehandlers would be helpful, but not essential

 

Salary guide: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE
