They have experience in the trades, butchery and driving.

They seek a long-term role in agriculture and have been interested in it due to their work in deer management and butchery over the past two years, which has given them an understanding of the food chain and animal welfare. Through deer management, they gained large- and small-game hygiene qualifications and worked with the animals throughout the entire process, from field to fork. This includes assessing the animals before the shot, taking the shot, gralloching and assessing the animals in the field, preparing the carcass and butchering it, then sending the finished product out to customers.

They are a very practical, hands-on person who loves learning new things and working outdoors. They are looking to improve their knowledge and are willing to work towards the necessary qualifications. Over the past two years, they have gained food hygiene qualifications (DSC1), large- and small-game meat hygiene, ATV qualification, chainsaw qualification, and First Responder Emergency Care Level 3.

With a background in construction, deer management, and butchery, they are physically fit and have a wide range of transferable skills.
