We are recruiting a Pig Stockperson to work on an indoor pig unit in Greater Manchester, WN6.

The chosen candidate will assist the existing team on a 450-sow breeding unit.

Candidate Specifications: 

• High pig husbandry understanding
• Ideally, 1 year + experience with commercial pigs
• Our client will also consider committed individuals who require training
• Good ability to maintain high welfare standards
• Self-motivated to achieve continuous performance improvements
• Enjoys working as part of a dedicated team
• Ability to take responsibility
• Willing to contribute towards continual improvement through new ideas and developments

Salary guide: £27,000 to £31,000 DOE

Plus, single-person accommodation on-site if required.

Hours: 07:30 - 16:30 (Monday - Friday, with every other weekend).
