Our candidate has experience working with a mixture of livestock within the farming industry.
Their roles have included livestock manger, shepherd, herdsperson, lambing assistant and pig stockperson.
They will complete their BSc (Hons) in Bio-Veterinary Science in May '20 and have a long list of agricultural and livestock certificates.
The candidate was an agricultural lecturer and a level 2 course manager at a top college during a year placement while at Uni.
They were responsible for animal husbandry, lessons plans, site management and general farm animal work.
This candidate spent a solid year as pig unit manager at another agricultural college gaining valuable skills in:
- Pig husbandry
- Dry-sow management
- Biosecurity protocol
