We have a new opportunity for a Pig Stockperson in South Yorkshire (S65).

The business is a mixed-farm enterprise. It comprises of 3000 indoor pig finishers on slats & straw fed by automatic feeders, 160 head suckler cattle and arable crops.

Job description:

• Working predominantly within the pig enterprise
• General animal husbandry
• Checking feed, water
• Emphasis on high welfare
• Power washing
• Bedding down & mucking out
• Assisting with loading and unloading
• Machinery work - telehandler and tractor driving (training can be given)

The full-time role includes pig work and assistance with cattle husbandry, calving and feeding round. General yard maintenance and odd jobs. Opportunity to assist at harvest tractor driving if required.

Salary: Hourly rate above minimum wage and dependant on experience.

Accommodation is not available, so candidates need to be able to commute to S65.
