Our client in North Yorkshire is seeking an indoor Finishing Pig Stockperson to join the Pig Team.

They are a mixed farm and also have sheep, cattle and arable. 

The chosen candidate will be involved with 8000 finishing pigs (6000 on the home farm and 2000 over B&B sites).

Ideally, the applicant will need:

• 1 – 2 years of experience in commercial pigs
• Have a driving license and a car
• Be able to drive a Forklift/JCB across all units

Candidate should also demonstrate:

• • Commitment & passion for the pig industry
  • Motivation to achieve good results
  • High welfare standards

On offer is a good salary package of approx. £20k - £25k (paid hourly) d.o.e plus company pension.  

Single person accommodation is available or candidates can commute to YO61.
