We are recruiting a Pig Stockperson for an indoor pig unit in West Yorkshire (YO18).

The family-run business focuses on breeding and finishing pigs alongside an arable farm.

The modern indoor specialist unit is slatted, accommodating 720 sows (breeding to finishing) using an automatic dry feeding system in all areas.

Person Specification:

• We are looking for a motivated and hard-working pig stockman or stockwoman who, ideally, has 1+ years of experience.
• Candidates with agricultural or other farming backgrounds will be considered as training can be offered.
• Good team-player qualities

Salary guide: £9.50 - £11.00 per hour (DOE)

Plus, pension & holidays.

Accommodation is not available, so candidates need to commute to YO18.

Hours Guide:
Monday – Friday - 7.45 am – 5.00 pm (possibly earlier start on Wednesday) & weekend rota.
