Junior Pig Stockperson - Jan16
Our candidate is a young and ambitious individual who is looking for his first role in the pig industry.
As a graduate with a Level 3 Distinction in Agriculture, he has decided that his love for working in Agriculture with animals would suit him well to a junior pig stockperson role.
Although at Agricultural College his course steered him towards sheep and cattle, he did work with the sows on-site and is keen to pursue a career in pigs. He is eager to apply what he has done and learned so far and to learn from experienced senior stockpeople.
He has professional maintenance, gardening and some livestock experience, and is a quick and eager learner. The candidate is intelligent and will undoubtedly go far as he works his way up and gains vital commercial pig production skills.
He is not afraid of hard work and can deal with the responsibilities given to him. He can work well on his own initiative and as part of a team.
He is now looking for his first break in the Pig Industry and is willing to relocate to anywhere in the UK. He can start immediately, does have a driving licence but doesn’t currently own a car so is looking for a role with accommodation.
