Our candidate is looking to enter the pig industry on a full-time basis.
Has spent a number of years working abroad and would now like to settle down in the UK. Travelling for the last few years, working on farms has just confirmed their desire to find work and build a pig industry career.
Our candidate is a considerate person who has a strong work ethic. Is confident and outgoing and has had a lot of contact with people from all over the world. They love working outdoors, in all weather conditions, and prefer a physically demanding role in farming.
Our candidate's experience extends to a variety of different farms and smallholdings, including a heritage breed pig farm. They have worked on various aspects of pig husbandry including mucking out stalls and laying fresh bedding, feeding, monitoring sows during birthing and moving pigs between paddocks.
This candidate has a full UK driving licence and their own vehicle and can commute from south Liverpool or relocate should the right opportunity present itself.
They would suit an entry-level pig stockperson role that offers coaching and ongoing work-based development.
